BodyPharm oxandrolone is a fast-acting anabolic steroid for oral administration. It is most effective as an athlete’s doping and is used in drying courses, when the main goal is to build dense and relief muscles, not to maximise them.

The drug has the active ingredient of the same name – it is oxandrolone, which is a fairly strong steroidal anabolic (≈ 400% of endogenous testosterone) with minimal androgenic activity (≈ 25% of endogenous testosterone), and has a short action (elimination half-life ≈ 8-12 hours).

Oxandrolone BodyPharm, as well as analogues in terms of active ingredient, is structurally a derivative of dihydrotestosterone. This explains many of its pharmacological qualities: never aromatised (not converted to estrogens), so it does not provoke estrogen-dependent side effects like fluid retention and gynaecomastia; it has a high affinity for sex hormone-binding globulin (HSPG), reducing its function and increasing the effectiveness of other steroid hormones; is non-progestagenic (progestagenic activity is not inherent), which means that it does not cause progestin side effects typical, for example, of all nandrolones and trenbolones; and so on.
